About ME

If you'd like to contact me, please email me at rkane29@gmail.com.

I'm a multi-award winning journalist, editor, and filmmaker who loves telling compelling stories about people, places, and things, either as a one-man operation or part of a team. (Yeah, I also love the Oxford comma.)

I've spent most of my career editing and writing at alternative weekly newspapers, but I've also written for the Los Angeles Times, a website that's all about dogs, and album liner notes for punk rock bands. I'm currently based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

A former boss once told me she thought my expectations were too high. I took it as a compliment.
